How to use this tool

  1. 01

Add the images you want to resize.

  2. 02

Enter a target width and height, or a scale percentage.

  3. 03

Keep the aspect ratio locked to avoid distortion, then download your results.

Sharper downscaling than a single draw call

Shrinking an image in one step makes it soft and aliased. This tool halves the image repeatedly until it is close to the target, then does a final precise pass — the same approach high-end editors use, and a visible improvement on detailed photos.

Consistent sizing across a whole batch

Apply one set of dimensions to hundreds of files at once. Mixed portrait and landscape images can be fitted inside a bounding box so nothing is cropped or stretched.

Frequently asked questions

Will resizing reduce my image quality?

Making an image smaller always discards pixels, but the multi-step algorithm here preserves far more detail than a naive single-pass resize. Making an image larger cannot invent detail — use the Upscale tool for that, which reconstructs it with a neural network.

Can I resize without keeping the aspect ratio?

Yes. Unlock the ratio toggle and set width and height independently. The preview shows the distortion so you can judge whether it is acceptable.

Does it work on animated GIFs?

Yes. Every frame is resized and the animation timing is preserved.
